A series of inexplicable events plagues those connected to the development of the world's first supersonic airliner, SST1. In response, a British agent is sent to investigate the matter, teaming up with a colleague to uncover a plot by Carl Petersen. Petersen stands to gain eight million pounds if the aircraft is not ready by a certain deadline. He has devised a group of robotic beings (remarkably appealing females equipped with electronic intelligence) to sabotage the SST1 project. These robots employ infrasound, or extremely low-frequency sound waves, to target individuals or objects, leading to disastrous outcomes.
