After making a daring escape from a rehabilitation zoo, Frankie, a squirrel known for his clever moves, returns to his woodland home. He discovers from his not-so-bright best friend, Cody, a porcupine with a knack for street cons, that during his absence, the entire forest had been stripped of acorns by The A.C.O.R.N.S. Institute (Alternative Cosmetic Oils for Regenerative Natural Skin-care). Not a single acorn was spared. With winter fast approaching, this presents a dire situation for all the forest's creatures. Thus, Frankie must infiltrate the newly-built, high-tech, rodent-resistant A.C.O.R.N.S. Processing Plant to reclaim the acorns!
