If you’re a fan of horror, gore, and violent films, and don't mind a hint of subpar acting, then this is a must-watch for you. The film is thrilling and even maintains a touch of suspense. It kicks off with intense action and sustains a relentless pace filled with chaos and destruction. I find it surprising that more people haven't experienced this movie. I haven't met a horror film enthusiast who has watched it yet. It stands as a hidden gem in European horror and exploitation cinema, easily matching the classics in the genre like Zombi 2, Demons, and House by the Cemetery. Moreover, it's conveniently available uncut (92 minutes) on DVD from Anchor Bay under the title Nightmare City, and on VHS as City of the Walking Dead. Exceptionally gory and brutal, it’s essential viewing for admirers of Italian grindhouse movies.
