Average Texas teenager, Billie Jean Davy, finds herself embroiled in a peculiar quest for justice. She is frequently followed and harassed by local boys who, one day, decide to vandalize her brother's scooter for amusement. The boys' father refuses to compensate them for the scooter's cost. This pursuit of fairness takes the teens across the state and results in an unexpected hero.
